Michigan native and Indy local, Joel Russell, Founder and CEO of eimagine, started the company over 20 years ago with the intention to use technology and business to enhance and change lives. Having a passion for excellence and a solid foundation in the technology industry, Joel embodies the eimagine philosophy of being transparent, collaborative, and having a shared vision, that empowers employees to improve their personal and professional lives, their working environments, and their influence in the community.

Prior to founding eimagine, Joel worked in the IT consulting industry and as an investment banker in New York City.  Joel graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Public Policy.

eimagine fosters the mission of ‘Technology Changes Lives’ – A mission that was heightened when Joel’s son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and witnessing the positive impact technology has on managing his diabetes. Joel also led the team at eimagine to create impactful technology based solutions that are battling infant mortality in the State of Indiana and getting teachers into schools quicker upon graduation.

A father of four, husband of twenty-two years, a soccer coach of high school students, and an avid cyclist, Joel stays busy. He is also involved in Heroes Foundation, Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
