Lathrop Contracting, Inc. provides roofing, siding, gutter, window, and masonry services for residential and commercial properties in Indianapolis and surrounding central Indiana areas.

While the firm is more than 10 years old, they updated their website about a year ago, and in the process, lost all of their SEO authority. On top of that, they didn’t really think the design represented them well.

what we did

Restoring their SEO authority and delivering a design they loved required the contributions of several members of our team. While the web team focused on the new site design, the content team was hard at work searching the internet archive for clues about what the site looked like two years earlier.

We recreated the site map, renamed pages, built 301 redirects, copied the content we could find, and wrote additional service descriptions. The design incorporated their red, black, and grey branding, along with some fun color images of tools used in the roofing trade to break up the text.

The page also featured our favorite “skinny contact form” to encourage move visitors to request an appointment. In addition to optimizing all of the content on each page, we have launched an aggressive Google My Business campaign.
