About six months ago we built a web site for Shade Tree Farms, located in Sudley Springs, Virginia. One of the things we enjoyed most about that project was all of the great pictures they had, which made creating a strong, engaging home page much easier. We built the original site using the Deep Focus theme.

We were really pleased with the final project, and so was the client.  When the owners approached us about building a site for another company they owned, West Winds Nursery we were excited to work with them again.

Since we train our clients to maintain their web sites after completion, we suggested using the same theme as a foundation.  We knew it would be much easier for them  if they didn’t need to learn how to navigate two different back end control panels.

The client had a terrific library of images for this business and we had a tough time choosing our favorites for the home page.  Luckily, this theme has a wonderfully flexible portfolio so we could display their images using a significantly larger thumbnail.  The result?  A visit to their Urban Gardens page is enough to encourage anyone to get out and plant something this spring!
