Whether or not you celebrate a holiday in December, I think it’s pretty safe to say everyone enjoys receiving a cheerful greeting in the mail.

At Roundpeg we like to send a holiday card every year, not only to our friends and family, but also to our clients. It is a casual reminder of our company for clients we haven’t worked with in awhile and a good way to reach out to people without asking for anything in return. We care a lot about our clients and are always trying to find new ways to interact with them and strengthen those relationships.

For the design of our holiday cards, I wanted to do something to reflect the changes the brand has undergone this year. While we loved the playfulness of the circles and handwriting fonts of the old look, Roundpeg has grown up, and our sleek new look reflects it. Since the updated style is much more minimalistic, I designed the cards to be more clean and simple than they have been in the past. I’ve always really enjoyed typography-based art, so I decided to use only words and the Roundpeg logo to form the graphics in a subtle way. The holiday season is often a busy time for people, so I wanted to contrast that by sending something that felt more serene and peaceful.

After finding a good balance of positive and negative space, and the right amount of festivity, we think the cards turned out great and represent our brand very well. We hope you enjoy them and would like to wish all of our friends, family and clients a great holiday season and happy new year!
