Our intern Scott is exploring WordPress here, and on his own

Well, well, well I’m back.  Good to see you all again.  Last time we talked, it was about changing goals.  Well I’m here to say that big goal numero uno has been accomplished.  I do believe in twitter and in Charlie Sheen terms, my exclamation would be #Winning.

Ok, so while I converted my site to WordPress and try to do at least one blog post a week, my site is far from finished.  Much to my frustration, the concept of plugins still elude my website.  I can’t seem to figure out how to install them.  At Roundpeg when I try to install any plugin, it takes about 3 seconds and then it  appears.  (Perhaps a slight exaggeration, but that is how it feels).  Apparently my website, although lovingly given my name, doesn’t like me.  All of my efforts to install plugins have been in vain.  Much research is underway but for now I am stuck.

Also, the WordPress theme I chose (kreative) has a featured post section compete with a large central homepage picture box.  I can’t seem to figure out how to set the featured image.  For the time being I’m focusing on learning more.  Through working at Roundpeg and doing some research, I am hoping to be able to solve this problem soon.

Do you have any problems with your blog or website?  What steps do you take to solve them?
