At Roundpeg, we’re blessed with a great team: Lorraine the fearless leader, Jay the marketing wunderkind, Taylor the extraordinary artist, and Rebecca, our office mom. We couldn’t do what we do without each team member working together to achieve some pretty cool things.

But it may just be that Clyde the cat is most crucial to Roundpeg’s success. Sure, she sleeps most of the time, annoys the heck out of Jay, and can be a real nuisance. But at the same time, Clyde is one neat encapsulation of our company culture.

Some people will say that company culture isn’t important in getting new clients. But those of us at Roundpeg know how wrong-headed that thinking is.

Many times a prospect walks through our doors unsure if we are the right choice, but after spending some time in our little house, comes out feeling comfortable enough to leave us with a check.

“Hey, good to see you! Can I get you a glass of water or a Diet Coke? By the way, are you allergic to cats?”

This is the normal greeting to customers and prospects who drop by our little white house. Many of us slip and call this place “home,” and we want our customers to feel the same way. We want them to know that this crazy house is always a place where they can be honest, relax, get their marketing figured out, and have a little stress relief with Clyde at the same time.

Sure, our casual, family vibe isn’t for everyone. Some people like their marketing companies in slick downtown high rises, and some people just don’t like cats. But for those select few who prefer an earnest, passionate, down-to-earth experience, come on by. Coffee’s on, and Clyde’s waiting.
