When Congregation Shaarey Tefilla approached us about designing a new website for them, we gladly took on the job.  Their original website was very plain with too much content on the main page, and no logic to how the data was organized.

We felt like they needed a more modern look to the site and a simple navigation strategy which made it easy for first time visitors or returning members  to find what they were looking for.

One of their members had created a logo which Taylor used as a starting point for the new design.  He carried the color of the flame through to stripes in the banner, and adjusted the font, using Tempus Sans which gave it a modern, but handwritten look.

While Taylor created a new banner, I created the new template, transferring all the content from the original site into separate pages.  One of my favorite features is the calendar, which creates a current listing on the sidebar, and a more detailed view of the entire month.

They still have to add photos and more content in the weeks to come, but since it was built on a WordPress platform, it will be fairly simple for them to update and keep current!
