If you want to use social media to grow your brand, simply creating a Twitter account is not enough. This is true whether you are a fortune 500 company or a “Solopremenur”. Building your brand on line takes work.
In a great post on Digital Times the author suggests Twiter works when the conversation is interactive and connected to your community. You must do more than simply push out your brand messages. It works when you use the tools like hastags (#) to make your content findable, and when you create interesting content by listening to your community.
