I frequently run across articles written by Alexandria Brown when I search the net for source material of interest to small business owners.  Her content is good, she usually offers lists, such as:Up Your CashFlow by Next Week – 13 Ways to have a Sale

What is missing from her blog is the conversation.  She simply posts her content with no opportunity for readers to respond, add additional suggestions or provide feedback.   I think this is a huge mistake.  It is a holdover from the days before Web 2.0 when we believed the web was about pushing content onto an audience.

It isn’t that way anymore.  Today the best websites are interactive, encouraging dialogue, exchange of ideas. Had  she encouraged conversation, the blog post might have been expanded from her list of 13 to 20 or even 25 ideas, with suggestions from her readers.

Conversations – Not Monologues
