Most of time, if I am asked to make a presentation to a group, the audience is comprised of small business owners.  So the invitation to talk to the business development team of Duke Energy about Linkedin was a challenging. but fun change of pace for Allison and me.

While we focused a significant amount of time on the set up of their profiles, the liveliest part of the program came as we talked about how to find contacts in specific companies.   Even with small contact circles they were surprised to see how wide their networks spread as they added just a few contacts each.

It was fun to spend the time getting up to speed on LinkedIn tools, which I rarely use as I work with small business owners, and Allison and I look forward to doing more of this type of LinkedIn training presentation.   You can find a copy of our PowerPoint below.
