I have been working as a marketing professional for a long time. I am proud of the fact that I have had experience with a wide range of marketing functions from research and planning, to media buying and ad creation. These days, however, it seems that all anyone wants to talk about is social media.
Don’t get me wrong, I think social media is an important part of the modern marketers tool kit. And we have many clients who turn to us for their social media support. However, it is not the only element in the kit. I think it is important for business owners to have a sense of balance, make good choices about which social media to spend time on, and to know why they are doing it.
