Lately I have been spending a lot of time focused on learning new skills and finding new tools which will help build traffic to our website and our clients websites.

In a recent post, for Problogger Onibalusi Bamidele of  YoungPrePro.com. endorsed the idea of joining a webring.  I was not familiar with the concept so I followed his link to www.webring.com to learn more.

What is a Webring?

A Webring is a collection of websites that are linked to each other. A major advantage of using a Webring is that it also helps you get high quality links which means both short term direct traffic and long term search engine traffic for you.

I liked the concept, so I joined the small business webring and am now connected to 50+ sites which all talk about small business marketing.  Will it drive traffic?  I don’t know, but I am going to check it out for a few weeks and see how well it works.
