Pinterest has been around for over 7 years now and we have seen quite the evolution in its short life span. Right now the native video player feature – that can be seen in the video below – is only available on IOS. But with 80% of Pinterest’s traffic coming from mobile devices, it will only be a matter of time before this feature is on all mobile devices.

Back in 2015, Pinterest initiated a new “Buy it” button. Since then, we have seen more and more companies using Pinterest to sell their product right in the app. These “Buy It” buttons eliminate a step in the buying process and help increase impulse purchases.
